Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-02-08
These Terms govern your access to and use of ChronoMe (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) Who we are
ChronoMe is operated by a private individual in Switzerland (the "Operator"). Contact details are provided in the Imprint.
2) The Service
ChronoMe provides chat and call features (human-to-human and human-to-AI), a personal timeline (memories/notes/diary), and optional tools such as uploads and AI summaries.
3) Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure.
- If you are a parent or guardian, you may invite a child account where supported. You are responsible for the child's use of the Service.
4) User content and permissions
You keep ownership of the content you submit (messages, audio/video, uploads).
To operate the Service, you grant the Operator a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content only for:
- providing the Service features you request,
- safety and abuse prevention (where enabled), and
- billing and account operations.
5) Personalization setting (Train on/off)
The Service may offer a "Train on/off" setting that controls whether conversation-derived insights are used to improve your own Chrono experience (for example, profile refinement, summaries, and personalization features).
This setting does not mean we train a general-purpose model on your data. We do not use customer content to train our own foundation models.
To provide core features (including safety checks, moderation, and response generation), your content may be processed by contracted AI service providers acting on our instructions. Where available, we configure these services so customer content is not used to train provider models.
We also apply data-minimization and pseudonymization practices for processing. However, content you provide may still contain personal information.
6) Payments, subscription, credits
- Some features require payment (subscription and/or credits).
- Credits are consumed by usage and are non-refundable unless required by law.
- We may change pricing and credit costs over time; changes apply prospectively.
7) Acceptable use
You agree to:
- NOT use the Service for unlawful activity,
- NOT harass, threaten, or abuse others,
- NOT upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service,
- NOT attempt to access other users' data without permission.
8) Safety and moderation
We may apply safety mechanisms (for example, warnings, call termination, reporting) to protect users and comply with law.
9) Availability and disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. AI outputs can be incorrect. Do not rely on the Service for medical, legal, or emergency decisions.
10) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data.
11) Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or security reasons.
12) Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Jurisdiction is Switzerland, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
13) Contact
See Imprint.
